personality and interests.Dirk is a well mannered nice guy, but he does have a short temper.  Whoeverevolkes that temper will have hell to pay.  Dirk is not one to take insults orthreats lying down.  He turns from Mr. Niceguy to an in your face smeghead.Dirk has always been interested in gizmos and machines, especially spacecrafts. If he sees something new, he can't wait to get his hands on it and try it outfor himself.
HistoryDirk was born in a small town in Mississippi in America at a very early age. His acedemic career was just slightly above average due to his spending hisfree time tinkering with hovercrafts and racing them.  The Academy would nottake him because the only other opening went to his rival, Tom Patterson.  Dirkthen rewired Tom's hoverbike so that it crashed into the officer's club, therebyruining Tom's career.  The news spread, and Dirk was allowed into the JMC due tohis knowledge, but has had trouble getting promoted due to his constantlyflaring temper.
