The Eyes

Joe Schweeble was quite suprised that he only suffered from a couple of
bruises and a cracked rib, after being trampled by the crew stampeding off
the ship. He looked up at the ship "wow...she's really something isn't she"
he thought "i'm not actually sure whart that something is yet though". He
wandered around the ship trying to get his bearings and he find the sick
bay to see if they could do anything about his rib.
He walked past a few people who weren't in such a rush to get leave the
ship. I young lady walked past, Joe closed his left eye (the blue one) and
looked the lady up and down.
"That looks like a nice perfume your wearing, Chanel No.357 isn't it?" he
said.
"Yes, how did you know that?" she replied.
"I can see it, it's a kinda pickish vapour around you, m..my mum used to
wear Chanel 357, sh..she's d..dead now" Joe broke down into tears and
collapsed on the floor sobbing, all of a sudden he felt very depressed.
The lady looked at him, where he lay on the floor drowning in a puddle of
his own tears. She looked worried, then she quicky walked away whistling to
herself.
Joe stayed like this for about a minute and then looked up to see a Pink
Tree carrying a suitcase hurry past him. "Looks like even the plant life
get shore leave" he thought. The sight of the tree made him forget his
depression, he stood up, his ribs were really starting to hurt now, he
looked at his plan of the ship. "Where the hell is the sickbay, it's not on
the map anywhere. Sod it, i'll go to the bar and drink the pain away, then
ask someone there where it is." He was relieved to see that the bar was the
most clearly marked place on his map, with several arrows pointing to it and
lots of directions so it could be located from anywhere on the ship.
"I just hope the barstaff haven't gone on shore leave yet."
He knew he should really report to the security department, but one drink
first couldn't hurt...could it?
