OOC:- Consider this a post that links Phil's post to Smandy's timeline wise, it's after Phil's, before Smandy's? Make sense? No...well, who cares.

A few hours later, a mammoth, wooden trebuchet had been constructed on the bank of the Seine.
"So..." said Katrina Salter, as she finished tying a knot in one of the large pieces of rope holding the thing together "You're absolutley certain this is the ideal solution...."
"Probably not.." said Jay in reply, "But since when have our idea's ever made sense?"
"Good point."
"We need to test it" someone said toward the back.
"Another good point.." Jay replied looking around, he spotted the big pink tree. He began walking over to the plant, knowing that the tree would be the mostly likely to survive a catapaulting across a river but changed his mind when he saw Mini-Phil humping the leg of a female crew member.
"C'mere" he grunted as he grabbed Mini-Phil by the collar and hurled him into the bucket of the Trebuchet.
"FIRE!!" he yelled, as he pulled the handle setting the catapault's arm in motion, and launching the midget skyward
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" yelled the dwarf, as he rocketed through the air, and collided with a far on the other side of the river. 
"Ooh..." Jay mumbled "A little more to the left!!"

"Ready?" Jay asked as Katrina readied herself to be fired. "As I'll ever be...you know, I'm starting to wonder what kind of guy you are....first you flatten me, then catapault me across a body of water, all within the first day we met....bet your a barrell of laughs in the bedroom..."
"I'm a hoot" came Jay's reply
"We could have just used the Starbug's y'know.."
"Where's the fun in that..."
Katrina then let out a yelp as Jay pulled the lever and Katrina soared into the air, coming down roughly on the other side between Efof and Alandra, who like the rest of the crew were nursing a few bruises and a couple of broken bones.
Jay looked over to Phil, there now being just the two of them left on this side of the river. "So...if I fire you...who' fires me?"
"You know what...." said Phil "I reckon this thing would float..."
Phil was pointing at the bucket on the end of the trebuchet's firing arm.
"Phil, you're a genius" Jay said, as he climbed the catapault and began untying the knots holding the bucket in place.
"Who's Phil?...and what's a genius?"
The bucket-boat, carrying the two men across the river came to rest on the shore and Jay and Phil got out, rejoining the group.
"Ok guys...let's head toward New Paris...."

Jay looked around for a bridge or boat of any kind, but couldn't find anything. It was so frustrating being that close. He could see the tall spires of the buildings in New Paris (which were all built in the style of the Eiffel tower) but he had no way of crossing the river.
"erm..."
"Yes Phil..and you is ask me what that is and it turns out to be a carrot i will kick you hard in the nuts"
"We could always use rebuchet to get people across..."
"Trebocet? thyats a fancy word..you been talking to Nipples again? remeber what happened last time? The incedent with the fork, the jelly and the pole dancer?"
