Defense scramble!

Who: Jack & all defense team members
Where: on BD
When: 'bout now...
Jack lay in his bed, an arm over Melissa, both of them snoring gently.
Holly, being the complete and utter smeghead that he always is,
appears on the screen next to them.
"Hey dude, you might wanna get up now." he said calmly, Jack opened an
eye, and rolled over to see him.
"Sup?" he asked, rubbing an eye.
"Well, my sensors are picking up some strange readings ahead of us...
not sure what it is, but it might be the space corps." he said, still
calmly, as if nothing serious was going on.
"What?!?" Jack yelled, jumping out of bed and getting dressed,
inadvertenetly waking Melissa, who looked up at him. "Whats going
on?" she asked, holding an arm out to him. He jumped over the bed to
her side, hugged and kissed her, then ran out. "Sorry love, trouble"
he said, calling to Holly.
"Holly! Scramble my defense team!" he shouted, running down to his
office, and activating all of the cannons.
"This is a Shipwide announcement, All Defense teams to positions!" he
called over the tannoy, then checked the sensors holly was talking
about, which did, indeed show a strange reading...
He then left his office, and ran up to the main turrets control room,
where some of the more powerful guns were controlled by remote.
"Well done guys" he said, seeing them all ready in a record time.
"Keep your eyes peeled, not sure what's actually out there." he said,
leaving the room, and making his way down the corridor to the hull
mounted turrets, men and women sat in them, watching out.
"Good.." he said, thinking about how much his defense team is shaping
up. Then Jessie... his latest team member, walked around the corner
slowly, and climbed into the turret in front of him.
"And where have you been?" he asked, as she stepped down to talk to him.
"Sorry... was in parrotts..." she said, slurring slightly.
"You're drunk aren't you?" he asked, knowing all too well that she was.
"Ok, I don't mind people getting drunk, but at times like this, when
anything could happen, you know all too well that the defense team is
on standby ALL THE TIME." he shouted the last bit, "SO that means no
drinking, understand?" he said, but knew all too well that she wasn't
listening, and would probably hate her for this.
"Now, i am going to ask you to go back to your room, and rest it off."
he said to her, calmly this time, then walked over to a holly console,
and called him up.
"yo Hol, tell the guys down in parrotts that jessie is banned from
parrotts until we've saved Earth would you please?" he asked, Holly
nodded, and vanished.
"I take it you heard that, so please, do yourself a favour, and go
home." he said, waiting to see what she'd do...
<tag jessie! i don't know your character too well, so i'm not gonna
make her do anything that might be out of character. I read that you
said she's random when drunk... but i don't know if she'd do that to
her boss :P >
