The continuing story of JBG.

Johnny Benjamin Goode woke up. He couldn't remember how he ended up on
a desert island, and definitely couldn't remember the traffic cone,
the police woman's helmet and suspenders. He vaguely remembered having
a fight with his boss, Jay. Johnny remembered never really liking him
that much. Then he remembered seeing something he never would have
expected - seeing Jay weeping over his loss. That was when he realised
his boss was human after all. Then he remembered being in a space
battle agains thise bugs. He shivered at recalling the slimy,
disgusting aliens. He remembered going into battle alongside his
friend Eric. Then he remembered punching him, knocking him unconsious.
Johnny wondered why he would do such a thing. Then he remembered the
explosion in the Hymie shuttle they were using, and ejecting Eric to
safety. Then he trapped all the hymie ships into the wormhole, leading
straight into a binary system of two black holes.
He looked around, and saw the remnants of the hymie shuttle he used.
He remembered walking out of it, and falling over unconcious. He
walked back to the ship, and was surprised to discover that the
electrical systems still worked. He soon discovered the controls for
the hymie equivalent of the black box recorder.
He didn't exactly crash the ship into the planet, but it wasn't a
smooth landing either. Either way, the ship wouldn't be able to take
off in a hurry, considering the damage it took in the fight,
travelling through the wormhole, splitting the two black holes and
being flung in the direction of a planet two solar systems away.
He looked at himself in the reflection of the tinted windows of the
ship. He had quite a beard going. But surely it couldn't have been
more than a few days, not the months his beard seemed to suggest. He
realised he was wearing a watch, and checked the date and time. It was
fourteen hours by his count since he had been flung through the
wormhole along with the battle fleet. Then he remembered the 'other'
button, and the computer in his watch booted up.
"Good mornin' J-man," came the voice of Tim, his Jamaican computer,
"You look like you've had a rough night."
"You don't know the half of it." Johnny moaned.
"By the way, J-man, where in smeg are we?"
"Your guess is as good as mine."
"Maybe it's Dean's quarters. This place is as deserted as the other
side of his bed." Tim chuckled. "Although, this island looks pretty
sweet, just like Jamaica, the best land in the omniverse."
"Well, I think the first point of business is to work out what food
here is edible, and how to try and get a message for help off."
"Sure, man."
"As well as finding out how I grew this ZZ-top beard in," Johnny
checked the time function on his watch, "about fifteen hours."
