RE: [JMC_Blue_Dwarf] One Way Ticket to Hell....

Jay looked over the dashboard of his custom Blue Midget, the Phoenix. Jay
had owned it for many years, bought it after it had been decommisioned by
the corp and modified it to the extreme. He loved this ship, and as several
had discovered, was very protective over it. He flicked a couple of switches
upward while the onboard computer ran some pre-flight checks.
"Kelly" Jay asked the computer "Where is Tara?"
Kelly paused for a moment, to interface with Holly, who pinged back the
answer to Jay's query.
"At the bottom of the boarding ramp LT. Cmdr Chrysler"
"OH.." Jay said "Tara you're late!"
"I know I know! I had to pay Amber a visit before I left, I couldnt just go
without letting her know I won;t be in for a few days"
"Fair enough...but if all goes to plan then her imprisonment will be a
non-issue.."
Tara buckled herself into the seat next to Jay's in the cockpit.
"Was Phil ok with the mission?"
"Phil doesn't KNOW" Jay replied "He's still got me grounded from flying,
say's I'm still in no condition to do so."
"So you're gonna add mutiny to your list of charges?"
"Hey once your got planetary genocide under your belt everything else is
just petty crime!"
Tara smiled. Jay had only approached her 20 minutes ago to ask if she would
join him in tailing Callum's party.
He knew they were on their way to salvage derelict craft to eventually
repair the wormhole drive. Jay, Tara, and Phil all had apersonal stake in
making sure that went smoothly, so Jay felt it was their job to make sure it
did so. Callum gets in trouble, Jay and Tara are there to bail 'em out.
The hatch sealed. And the Phoenix rocketed out of the hangar bay, on a
pursuit course of Callum's starbug.
Meanwhile, a space corp battle cruiser was on an intercept course for the
Blue Dwarf. Its orders, to bring Chrysler in dead or alive.
Any resistance, was to be dealt with accordingly....
< tag becca, or anyone in callums party. And anyone aboard BD in fact..the
corp are coming aboard remember were fugitives!>

Callum and Guinevere exchanged looks for a moment as they both
realised that this trip wasnt exactly what they were expecting.
Guinivere then followed Jessie onto the bug and Callum turned around
only to walk straight into Kara....
"Hello Kochanski." She said in a low angry scottish accent, partly
from Jessie but also motivated from meeting up once again with her
old school 'friend'. "
"Kara... Um, hi." CK said nervously as he remembered what had
happened the last time they'd met. "Nice to see you again."
"Don't even try with the pleasentry's." She snapped, "This journeys
already turned into enough of a nightmare without having to hear
your stupid voice. I assume im flying?"
"Um, yeah." Before Callum had been able to finish Kara had already
entered the bug.
"What was all that about?" Asked Guinevere, who had been watching
what had transpired.
"It's a long story and im tired of telling it" said CK as he walked
into the airlock. "Efof you coming or not?"
Efof ran up after the others into the bug as the engines started up.
The airlocks closed and sealed just as the work droids finished
loading the weapons, salvage equiptment and the other cargo that the
crew would need on their mission. The thrusters started and the ship
started towards the asteroid field/starship graveyard once called
Earth.
"How long will it take to get there?" asked Jessie.
"About six hours." said CK as he opened a bottle of Scotch." And
then a few miniutes later....
"Are we there yet?" asked Efof.
<TAG GUYS, lets make this trip interesting>
OOC- I don't know if anyone else remembers the Kara/CK backstory
because we only started it around the same time she left. But if you
don't it'll just make it more interesting....
