Into the Light

Where: Court
When: A few days after the last court post.

Amber was thrown onto the floor infront of the judge, coughing violently she struggled to keep herself from being sick.
  "With no new evidence being brought forwards I have no choice
but to pass sentance on you. It is a shame that these days there is no
death penlty or I would sentance you to a slow painfull one, but alas I
cannot." The Judge paused as the courtroom erupted into angry protests.
Amber coughed violently again and splattered the floor with black goo.
  "Bite... Me." She wheezed. The court became louder at her outburst.
  "Order! Order in the court!" The judge barked banging his little
hammer on the desk. "That includes you Miss FeBuggure!" It was at this
point, that Amber's nano's cut the last of the strands holding the
device in place. She coughed so violently that the device came up with
the strands of darkrness as well. It squelched onto the floor of the
courtroom and silenced to crowd. Her nano's were on the way out, they
had pretty much exausted themselfs in the fight, there was just enough
energy to clean up and make sure their host was in top condition. Back
in the courtroom Amber's eyes faded from the black they had been to
their old blue and she gasped as for the first time she felt a clarity
that had not ben in her mind for a long time.
  "It was this device making me evil." She said pointing at the
black lump on the floor. "I was being controlled, it wasn't me!" She
said, desperatly clinging onto straws in the hope that the judge
realized the truth.
  "Take that black lump to Keto for analysis. Nothing has changed
Miss Febuggure, you are still the evil person that helped the
Hymenopterra and murdered our Captain! Take her away, I don't want to
see her again for a long time. Deck 13 should suit her just fine!"
  "You can't do this to me! I'm innocent! It wasn't me!" She
struggled against the guards and the chains keeping her from lashing
out. In one last desperate attempt she used all the remaining power of
her nano's to send a message to Keats and Jack. ^Ge... Keto... proo...
I...  Innoce.... John, I lo.... ...ou.....^ The nano's failed and
Amber was left with the sound of silence in her mind and a strangely
empty feeling inside her.
Amber stood silently as the turbo lift slowed to a stop at Deck 13.
  "Welcome to the rest of your life you miserable excuse for a
human." The guards said shoving her into the custody of the Deck 13
