'Chris Harris - Getting Back on Track'

"Will this work?" Chris asked Keto as he prepared a needle for the injection that would hopefully restore his sense of touch.
 
"It best do, I've spent all bloody week trying to do this for you" snapped Keto before raising the needle and injecting into Chris' arm a gentle anaesthetic, that would have him out cold for approximately 10 minutes.
 
Chris woke up 10 minutes later with his sense of touch restored. He did not no How Keto had done it, nor did he want to.
 
"Thanks Doc" he said before walking out of the medi-bay in the direction of his quarters. As he got in, Holly appeared on the monitor on the wall.
 
"What's happenin' dude?" asked Holly.
 
"Any messages?" replied Chris
 
"Nope, oh wait, yes there was one"
 
"Could you read it to me?" said Chris, Irritated.
 
"No" replied Holly.
 
"Why not!" said Chris, glaring angrily at the monitor.
 
"You didn't say please" retorted Holly.
 
"Just gimme the damned message Hol"
 
"Please"
 
"Just gimme the damned message Hol, PLEASE"
 
"Ok, The Captain sends his congratulations, as you have been promoted, with immediate effect, to chief security officer"
 
"Nice joke Hol, the real message please?"
 
"That was the message"
 
"Peace out dude!" shouted Chris as he ran out the door closing it behind him
 
Halfway down the corridor Chris pressed the button for the shipwide speaker.
