The Simming Endeavor: Episode 4 (Humor)
Hello, and welcome back to The Simming Endeavor, an online role playing elimination game of skill, luck, and cunnning, with a top prize of $100 USD. I’m still Charles Star and I’m still your host. As a reminder, this experiment is both sim and game show at the same time. The contestants role play together in the play-by-post sim we created on the Ongoing Worlds platform while weekly blog posts here simultaneously serve as game show episodes. Last week we saw our first character eliminated from the game. There will be another today.

First off, thank you for bringing me back up to the carpet this week, it’s always a privilege. When I heard that you wanted us to write a satire that included news in some format, I immediately thought about all the hot tic items going on in today’s modern news and chose to twist it and poke at it while stirring in a bit of irony because fun. I think it’s just gritty enough to be interesting without being offensive.
What a well written post! Great dialog and character development circling around a humorous concept.

You know what I always say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This is a masterful mix of the Star Trek text into the game’s story for an outside reader.

I’ll break from tradition as I did in the last episode’s elimination. As with Ametheliana’s final challenge post, Mark also finished 4th this week. So close to a chance at immunity! In addition, just as we had last episode, this week’s eliminated player didn’t receive any elimination votes the previous week. This is a game of inches, folk!
