Ongoing Worlds Medal for Superior Online Role Playing
That’s right–it’s time to nominate the best of the best from the entire roleplaying and simming community for our top award presented annually: The Ongoing Worlds Medal for Superior Online Role Playing (affectionally known as the Squiddies). Nominations will be accepted through October 31st.
If you haven’t previously heard of the Squiddies, you can read about both our 2013 winners and our 2014 winners. Each year we bestow the award upon three different entities: one person, one sim/game, and one club. Prior winners are not eligible for future awards.
Squiddies are presented for exemplifying one or more of the following characteristics, primarily during the previous calendar year:
- Excellence in role playing
- Originality and innovation
- Facilitating the community experience
Nominations may be made by anyone using the form below. There is no limit to the number of nominations one can make, and self nominations are also permitted. Each nomination should include a write-up of why the person, sim, or club is deserving. The write-up should not exceed 250 words and should concentrate on one or more of the three areas mentioned above (focusing on actions and events of 2014).
All nominations will be considered by the Ongoing Worlds Board of Advisors. The winners will be decided by consensus and will be announced shortly after the nomination process ends. Best of luck to everyone! Be sure to get your nominations in before November 1st!
